Vladimir started his marine insurance career in claims broking 16 years ago in Hamburg, servicing inter alia two of Germany’s largest ship owners and managers. He was relocated to Singapore in 2013 to help drive with the firm’s Asia expansion, and in 2016 moved to a multinational marine insurance broker. Across his eight and a half year tenure, he held a number or roles across wholesale broking and client management, with responsibilities across claims and growth, eventually heading their Shipping practice for Asia. Vladimir most recently worked for an International Group P&I Club for a year and a half as an Underwriting Director in their Offshore division, before moving to Howden in 2025 to drive the expansion of their Marine Retail portfolio in Asia. Vladimir holds a Masters in Maritime Law.
