Tom has lived in Singapore for more than 20 years and has more than 30 years of experience from Marine Underwriting, Marine and Energy Insurance Consulting, Shipping, Risk Management, and Insurance Broking. In 2008 Tom started Edge Singapore as MD and Founding Partner. His previous work experience includes 11 years of Underwriting with Gjensidige and Vesta, 7 years with Aon Asia as Regional Marine Director and as Director for the company’s Singapore marine department. Prior to this he was employed with Osprey Maritime Limited, Singapore, as their Risk Manager. Following the acquisition of Osprey by Gotaas-Larsen, London he was promoted to Commercial Manager for the Group based in Singapore. This position included marketing of their LNG activities, Joint Venture negotiations, Sale and Purchase negotiations, and employment contract work for the 30 ships that were owned by the company at that time. He also represented the Company in Intertanko’s Insurance Committee, London.
