Sydney Hwang has 12 years of experience in the marine insurance industry. She joined Zurich Insurance Company Ltd (Singapore Branch) in 2020 as a Senior Underwriter focusing on marine cargo, project cargo, and fine art and specie in the region. She is also experienced in providing digital cargo and international programme solutions for customers with overseas exposures. Prior to joining Zurich, Sydney was at Chubb Insurance Singapore where she also focused on multimodal freight liability underwriting.

Sydney has a BSc Accounting and Finance (Honours) from the University of London and a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute, and is a certified Associate Digital Insurer by The Digital Insurer.
