Dr. Nick Chapman is a marine insurance and risk management professional with over a decade of cargo and logistics expertise, consulting with clients to identify, understand and manage exposure and risk across their global supply chain. Nick joined Aon Singapore in 2023 as a Regional Director focusing on Cargo and Logistics clients across Asia. Prior to that he gained 6 years’ experience with Marine Underwriters and 5 years’ experience with Marine Loss Investigators, developing specialist technical and operational expertise including on the ground in 50 countries. Nick has an IRM certificate in Supply Chain Risk Management, a PhD in Agricultural Science and remains a Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology and a Chartered Biologist. He has previously held voluntary industry positions on the Loss Prevention Technical Committee for the International Union of Marine Insurance, as a Reviewer for the International Journal of Maritime Crime and Security and as a participant member of the Transported Asset Protection Association, among others
