Cedric joined AXA XL in 2012 as a senior claims adjuster for marine, energy, aviation and fine art & specie. Cedric is now Practice Leader and Claims Manager for APAC Specialty Lines. In this role, he is responsible for and drives his team towards the successful management of Specialty claims across the APAC region, the provision of tailored service and resolution of problems for clients, regardless of the level of complexity.

Cedric has been handling numerous marine hull claims involving all aspects of H&M / IV and War risk insurance, dealing with particular average, general average, sue and labour, RDC and CTL matters and the like since he has started in the insurance industry in 2004.

Cedric holds a LLM Maritime Law (University of Southampton) and speaks fluent English, French and Dutch. He is an Associate of the Association of Average Adjusters.

Prior to joining AXA XL, Cedric spent 7 years with a major French mutual in France, London and Singapore holding various claims positions and prior to joining the insurance industry, Cedric has worked as legal counsel with a major shipowner in Belgium.

Cedric is passionate about sailing, plays golf, dives and is currently learning to play piano.
