Bas Wiebe has been in the salvage and offshore industry for 25 years. He started with one of the leading international salvage companies in the Netherlands in 1999. After an initial period of two years in the head office in IJmuiden, the Netherlands he moved to the Singapore branch. He has since been based in Singapore.

He held positions as commercial, salvage, regional manager Asia Pacific, general manager and now as general manager responsible for the marine salvage services of Resolve Salvage & Fire (Asia).
