Alex is responsible for management of the Miller Marine Retail team and business production as well as negotiating and placing business in the London and international markets. He has experience representing shipowners from around the world, placing vessels ranging from small, locally trading Caribbean tugboats to globally operating LNGs.

Alex has worked in marine insurance broking for over 23 years, starting at another leading global broker, then joining Alston Gayler (AG) in 2007 and Miller in 2019. He began his career as a technician, dealing with many internationally recognisable blue chip accounts, both in the hull and machinery and liability markets.
