Rita brings 12 years of brokering and underwriting experience in Marine Cargo Insurance. Her career started with an international brokering firm handling marine cargo accounts across the Asia region. She subsequently worked as a Cargo Underwriter for five years running the North Asia Portfolio, which gave her the exposure of risk analysis, pricing modeler and loss prevention. Throughout the years, she has developed solid knowledge and experience in handling all types of cargo accounts, including conventional cargo programs, Excess of Loss, Stockthroughput and Project Cargo with/ without DSU. She has worked with clients from various industries including High Tech & Semi-conductor, Oil/ Commodity trading, Consumer Goods, Pharmaceutical, Power/ Civil Project, etc. Rita was also a Finalist of Lloyd’s Asia Marine Broker of the Year 2024.
